Terms of service
1. Who we are, and what this is
Odette is a career-management application for models, influencers and actors, published by Swapp SARL, 64 route de Versailles, 78430 Louveciennes, France, registered under SIREN 904 693 264, RCS Versailles (SIRET 904 693 264 00023, VAT FR16904693264). Publication director: Arthur Feingold, manager. The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. and the data by Supabase Inc. (see the privacy policy). These terms govern your use of the website and the application. Using either means you accept them.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or over to create an account. By signing up you confirm that you are. Odette does not knowingly store a minor's data: an account we learn belongs to someone under 18 is deleted, with everything on it.
You sign in with your email address. A password is optional; if you set one, keeping it is your responsibility. One account belongs to one person. You may give other people access to your account — an agent, a manager, an accountant — and you choose what each of them can reach. What they do with that access is between you and them.
3. What Odette does
Odette keeps your bookings, castings, contracts, money, image rights and to-dos in one place. It reads emails and documents you forward and turns them into drafts. It counts the days on a payment. It can, if you ask it to, check your clients' websites for photographs of you.
4. What Odette does not do — and this matters
- It has no connection to your bank. Odette cannot know that a payment arrived. It asks you, and you record it. Every figure it shows about money you have received comes from something you told it.
- It does not send anything on your behalf. Reminders, renewal requests and takedown letters are drafted and wait for you. Nothing leaves your account without you sending it.
- It is not legal, tax or accounting advice. The tax set-aside is arithmetic on the status you selected; the contract reader extracts clauses; the per-country notes are reminders of what to ask for and keep. Decisions about your taxes, your contracts and your disputes are yours, and you should take professional advice.
- A reading can be wrong. Anything parsed from an email or a contract arrives as a draft with a plain word for how sure it is. You confirm it. If you confirm something that was read incorrectly, the record is what you confirmed.
5. Your content, and what we may do with it
What you put into Odette stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store it, display it back to you, show it to the people you have shared with, and process it as the privacy policy describes — including sending the text of a forwarded email or a contract to our reading provider.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. Do not put anyone else’s personal data into Odette unless you are entitled to, and do not use it for anything unlawful.
You can export your data and you can delete your account at any time.
6. Plans and payment
Odette has a free plan and two paid plans, and does not charge anyone yet. The Free plan covers three active jobs — a job counts until it is paid or cancelled — and one agency; working direct never counts. The Plus and Pro plans lift those limits and add what the pricing page lists.
A new account starts with a 14-day Plus trial, without a card. When it ends, the account moves to the Free plan on its own. We send one email three days before, and nothing else about it.
Nothing is deleted when a plan ends. Past a limit, your oldest active jobs and your first agency stay editable, everything else stays readable, and a job can always be marked paid, cancelled or deleted.
Paid plans cannot be bought yet. When they can: prices will be shown before you are asked to confirm, a subscription will renew for the same period unless cancelled before the end of the current one, and cancelling stops the next renewal without refunding the period in progress. The payment provider, the refund policy and the statutory right of withdrawal will be stated here before anyone is charged.
7. Availability
We do our best to keep Odette running and to keep your data safe, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of errors. We may change or withdraw features; if we withdraw something you depend on, we will say so in the application first.
The application works offline for reading, and queues writes made offline until the connection comes back. A queued write is not a delivered one, and the interface says so.
8. Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including death, personal injury, or our own fraud or gross negligence.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows: we are not liable for a payment you did not receive, a deadline you missed, a contract you signed, a right you did not renew, or income you did not make. Odette is a record and a reminder, not a guarantee. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the sum you paid us over the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Ending it
You can stop at any time by deleting your account, which deletes your data as the privacy policy describes. We may suspend or close an account that is used unlawfully, that puts the service or other people at risk, or that we are required to close; except in an emergency we will tell you first and give you a way to export your data.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change them in a way that matters, we will say so in the application before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Odette after that means you accept the new version.
11. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform. Disputes fall to the courts of Versailles, subject to the rules that apply to consumers.
The French version of these terms prevails in case of divergence.
