Free tool · a Odette feature, open to everyone
See what a modeling contract actually says.
Day rate, buyout, image usage, exclusivity, expenses, notice: Odette pulls out the clauses that matter, says what’s clear, what needs clarifying, what needs changing — and drafts the questions to ask your agency. Read the sample below, clause by clause.
Try the sample contract — your own contract in the app, during early access.
Six lines that matter, in fourteen pages.
- 01Day rate and buyout
The price of the day, and the price of the usage — priced separately or “included”?
- 02Image usage
Media · territory · term. “All media, worldwide, perpetual” is a signal.
- 03Exclusivity
Category, territory, term. Paid? Bounded?
- 04Expenses and per diem
What gets rebilled, with or without a cap.
- 05Payment
30, 60, 90 days; date to date or end of month.
- 06Term, renewal, notice
Tacit? How many months to leave?
Confidence in words — sure, likely, check this — never a percentage. Every line quotes the contract’s sentence.
Day rate, usage, exclusivity, expenses, payment, notice. A full contract takes longer than an email.
Automatic reading, to be checked. This is not legal advice: for a clause that commits you for years or thousands of euros, an hour with a specialised lawyer pays for itself.
In the app, this contract becomes a job, a usage on your timeline and an exclusivity checked at every casting.
Early access →Mostly standard. Two things to look at: “related media” and uncapped “miscellaneous fees”.
Could you clarify or remove “and related media” in Article 3, or list the media concerned?
What is the hourly rate for work beyond 6 pm (Article 2)?
Could you list the “miscellaneous fees” in Article 5 and set an annual cap, with an end date rather than “until further notice”?
Could the exclusivity in Article 4 be limited to a list of brands, and end with the usage?
How it works, and what it doesn’t do.
The same reading as in the app, no account needed. The text is sent for analysis then forgotten: nothing is stored, nothing is linked to you.

PasteThe contract, or just the confirmation email. In English, French or Italian — the reading answers in the page’s language.
02
ReadEach clause with its value, a note, and its confidence in words: sure, likely, check this. The summary says whether there’s something to look at.
03
AskThe questions for your agency or the client are drafted. You copy, adjust, send — or not.
What the tool does
Extracts day rate, buyout, usage (media, territory, term), exclusivity, expenses, payment, term and notice. Flags open phrases — “all media”, “miscellaneous fees”, “as customary”. Drafts the questions. Works on an email as well as a fourteen-page PDF.
What it doesn’t do
It doesn’t give legal advice and replaces neither your booker nor a lawyer. It doesn’t keep your text. It doesn’t know your other contracts — in the app, Odette compares with the ones you’ve already dropped in and flags conflicts (a commission that differs, an exclusivity that blocks a casting).
